NW South Dakota | Several years ago as I was climbing down off the air seeder cart, I developed this piercing pain in my hip. I went to Dr. got painkillers. Went back to Dr. got oxygen-contin(sp?). Went to chiropractor he put some type of electric muscle twitching device on my back. Finally I went to a different chiropractor,( at the recommendation of a friend who had sciatica) who adjusted my back and the pain went away almost immediately. The right chiropractor made all the difference. Stretches that include thrusting your hips and arching your back seemed to help some as well. I have not had a sciatic incident since and I think this was five years ago. Good Luck. | |
