Elizabethtown,KY | I was on the jury for a meth trial back in 2000, I learned way more about meth than I ever wanted to.
The worst thing was the trial was nothing like L.A. Law, there were 2 men and 2 women who wouldn't vote with us to give the perp the maximum sentence and make him a persistent felony offender. We found out after the trial that we were trying him for his 3rd offence, he just smirked after the verdict was read.
But what really got my goat was the fact that a retired state trooper was defending the piece of scum! | |
