West Tennessee | I wouldn't have any problem using Capital One if that worked for me. Do you have a local or online investment representative? They almost always have CD's with decent rates. A friend of mine brought be his brochure yesterday that had 1 year for 2.15% up to 5 year for 3.15%. All FDIC insured etc. just like the ones at the local bank. They just aren't local banks. I'm sure Fidelity and all of the online brokerages have similar ones available. I was surprised that the ones in this brochure only had a $1,000 minimum. Wouldn't think that would be worth their time. | |
