North Central Iowa | $3.50 or $4 gas will slam the brakes on the economy so fast it will make your head swim in about 1 month of it. The average working person will be out of disposable money by then and will not buy or go anywhere. Daily cash flow going thru towns will dry up. Don't believe me. Watch it. I have a good friend that owned a convenience store the last time it got that high. He said every week you could watch the in store sales get worse. By the 4th week they just died. People were just putting in just enough gas at a time to get to work and nothing else. He said by the 3 week it was amazing how many credit cards got denied when people wanted to fillup. | |
