Maybe if you make a crop when diesel is at $4, when the crop sucks then the farming sucks. When fuel is at that kind of price everything we buy is going up. The chemicals, fertilizer, fuel surcharges on freight, etc. All we do is shuffle more dollars around. If you bring in a good amount of dollars you may be fine. If the crop is short you're in trouble.
