I need to replace two 7.5 hp Long 26" axial drying fans on a 24 ft drying tank with a Shivvers circulator. Grain depth during drying is normally 9-13 ft. I'd like to go with 1 centrifugal fan but am limited by single phase electric. I've got 3 estimates, each for a different fan. The first is for a 15 hp GSI inline centrifugal which looks like it won't move any more air than one of my axial fans. A second estimate is for a Brock 10 hp centrifugal with an upstream heater. Guy says 10 hp will move all the air I need. Last estimate is for a Brock 15 hp centrifugal or a Sukup 15 hp centrifugal for ~$500 less than the Brock. What do I really need as I want to increase drying capacity of possible. FYI in the ~35 years since the original dryer was installed combine capacity has increased from JD 105, 7700, two 7720's, to a 9600 so dryer is now the bottle neck.
