Subject: RE: Featherfarmer question

NW Indiana
So I don't grow it and the market never moves. I break even correct? What about the $200/ac I have to send my landlord where does that come from? If I had produced it and sold it at 3.70 breakeven I would actually have that rent money. So in order to "break even" as you are suggesting you would have to buy the board at a level that doesn't include land expense, equipment, etc and have it rally to at least the 3.70 area to truly break even. How many times has the board presented that opportunity on the next growing season? I'm not saying your idea would be crazy if you truly had the opportunity I'm just pointing out that the opportunity hasn't happened.
