Agreed, tonnage won't be anything special so I will get it fed up before spring. I just don't want to hurt the stand by cutting it at too short of an interval. Maybe I'll be ok as I cut it last on August 5, but we have been dry and pretty cool for August/early September here so it sure seems short yet. Then again, maybe I just got spoiled cutting 4' high grass and forgot what a normal yield looks like
