Subject: Extending hay for a small beef herd

West Salem, Illinois
So we have been a little dry thru the summer and started feeding hay early and didn't get the tonnage we would normally get. I called the bean plant today and can get soyhulls for $130/ton, in 2-3 weeks because of the drought elsewhere. I wasn't able to get silage put up, but could probably get my hands on some stalk bales. All of my row crop acres are in double crop beans, that still have a chance to yield. So that's the background.

What other feedstuff sources should I be looking for?
