I farm on the opposite end of Clinton County and can tell you we do a really good job of bringing that average back to earth. The west 1/2 to 1/3 of the county probably has 20-30 BPA higher average than we do on the east side. Darker soilers, deeper soils, more creek & river bottom ground (which can be a blessing and a curse). I can say one thing for sure, it at least sells for a price/acre that would make you think it should be 275-300 BPA.
