| I may be simple but the reason I think beans will yield less isn't because of some formula based of rainfall and temp but based on pod counts. I don't have the pods on my beans I normally have. Again, I maybe simple but you can't have yield without pods. Unlike other cool dry years that had big yields this year was muddled in and late with a hot dry July. Other analog years where cool and dry the entire year. They where planted early. We didn't get all the gdus. Another point to add was that the other cool dry years had ungodly high crop conditions ratings. Ours are in the toilet this year. I am thinking the desk jockeys with be in for a shock this year. | |
