West Central MN (between MMF and Larson's)
Spoke with a friend whose a bean breeder for one of the majors. He's been touring all their plots in the northern belt and says he's expecting folks to be be disappointed come fall. Short synopsis, looks are going to be deceiving. Last couple years there were clusters of 5 or more pods of uniform pods. This year 2-3 non-uniform pods. His thoughts is between the dry patch we had in early pod set and cool weather limiting pollen viability are going to limit yields.
