SW Michigan | Now most of the time the answer for me would be my mother's and my wife's chicken. They are both from the south and make excellent fried chicken. However. A good friend of mine and myself was in Tennessee at Dandridge equipment (JD dealer) picking up a 7810 we bought and time we got it loaded and chained down it was lunch time. Owner Mr Cathay suggested that we go to Guses chicken shack.(I think that was the name) Owner was a elderly black man and the shack was a old chicken coup. Holy cow. That was by far the best chicken I've ever had, it had a little heat to it but man that was good. I haven't been able to find anything like it since. I think I've heard that the shack has since burned down. That would be too bad because it was not only an experience but some really really good chicken.
