WY, OK | Rib brands are the easiest and were the first taken back in the day. The second one is the cleanest and could be done with one iron. Last one has too much going on and is either going to have to be very large or blotch. Same with the first the A and B are going to have to be quite a ways apart for that bar not to blotch with them. Best brands are 1 letter or number then 2 then one or two with a slash, or bar somewhere around them. Worst locations are the shoulder followed by the hip both roll off and don't have much room to work with on calves. For whatever reason left side rib was where the first guys started out here, not sure why not on the right. Here there isn't a chance in the world of getting any left or right side rib brand that isn't some abomination of letters unless you fork over a lot of money for an old one someone is selling. |
