SW “Ohia” | Hello All,
Ohio is not a brand-required state. But some instances of cattle theft across the river in KY has made the idea of a permanent ID pretty appealing when running cattle far from home. (No, I don't plan to plaster this on everything either, just for cattle.)
What can you guys out in branded-cattle states suggest for designing one? What location is best to specify? I know to keep it simple. I also intend to use this as a Log Brand if I ever sell to a mill that requires stamped logs.
Some thoughts, all of which are available in the combo I would use:
"Letter Slash Letter"
"Rafter Letter"
"Rafter Letter Letter"
I can also combine my initials in a way to make a very simple symbol. Is this suggested since it can't really be 'said' in an easy way?
Pictures below are examples, letters would not be same.
