Subject: tip-back on corn ears


Just heard someone on local radio market report state that there is 1-2" of tip-back in IA and IL corn and that's eroding the corn yields.....  We think if you don't have ANY tip back, then you didn't plant a high enough population. Most of our hybrids have 1" of tip back this year again.
