SC IL | In the same general location, people get out and look at your fields--they may look great from the windshield but the posted picture is better pollination than some of mine. Two weeks ago apparently the heat knocked out the pollination window, I have fields that you have to look hard to find ANY ears that look as good as the photo above. Planted May 17-27, there is some variety difference due to maturity (111-117 day). I got my wake-up call when I started seeing this on Friday, apparently the word is getting out. | |
