The trick is, we took 6 weeks to do it with a week off at friends near Seattle in the middle. I'm only good for a couple hundred miles a day. 300 miles maybe on a smooth interstate road (which we avoid most of the time). Years ago I would do a 600 mile day once in a while. Not any more. We stop lots and as the day goes on stop even more. Being semi almost completely retired helps. The bikes we ride on long trips are pretty comfortable also. This time we both rode my wifes Can Am Spyder RT but usually I am on a 2012 Goldwing. Sometimes we take one, sometimes we take two. Two years ago we did coast to coast on the Goldwing. John
