NW Ohio | Not sure why everyone goes crazy over the national yield average. It's only part of the equation. Total bushels is where the discussion should be. 13 billion may be in the ballpark. That kind of total will cut the carryout just about in half. USDA in keeping a lid on prices continues to encourage usage. You can argue that with total bushels being this low, demand will fall off as prices rise. Well, this hasn't been a problem yet now has it? :) | |
