I was on a national board for 5 years that had a meeting the end of July every year. It was all farmers at that meeting and every year they would ask the same question that you have asked here. All 5 years the farmers said the current years crop was not going to be as good as the previous years crop. I think 4 out of the 5 years we had better national yields that year then the year before. I am pretty sure that is not going to be the case this year but I don't think a farmer poll comparing years in July is going to be accurate at all. |
