West central IL | My area of west central Illinois had very solid yields last year. Lots of 230's. Very dry in June and about ten days from disaster and then the rains came and July and August were perfect.
This year we had a few small rains in June and kept things looking better going into July, but the rains haven't started and we are pollinating in dry weather. Our corn probably won't be as good as last year and could be significantly worse. Beans look good for those of us who planted in April. August rains will get the final say on them as usual.
Edit: I should add that on this dirt and climate 150 is a disaster and anything under 200 is not good. Everything is perspective I suppose.
