NW Washington | I recommend that you check with Consumer Reports and see what they say about various appliances. It may cost you a few bucks to get info on their web site or buy magazines/books, but I think it is worth it. It is better than taking a salesman's word for what is good or bad. CR has no advertisements so they are not beholden to anyone when they do their testing, unlike other magazines.
