NE SD | Most of the poor stands here are where guys chiseled in the fall, and "poor" might be giving too much credit. I took a long drive around on Saturday, and I saw some fields that would be lucky to have 2/3 of a stand. I'm looking ok so far, but going to need rain soon. My beans are up and can row them all, but I got going on the 5th when there was a little moisture to get them started. There are some that are out finishing up now that are basically planting into moon dust. | |
