waterloo iowa | There was a plumber that I used once who overcharged me badly,,one morning he was working for a neighbor and he came flying out of the drive right in front of me.I slammed on my brakes and waited for the dust to settle,then I saw a little socket set in the road,then a pair of waterpump pliers then assorted tools every 50 feet.the service box had rusted through. I thought about whether to give them back or not and then saw him parked at a convenience store.He came out carrying a case of beer and flew out of the lot,I figured if he was drinking at 10 in the morning he wouldn't need the tools much longer anyway.,,and he went out of business a few weeks later | |
