Did something more stupid in my younger days. Working on an NH3 tank with the faulty gauge removed. While working on it empty, the tank was light and moved back and forth from standing on the tire. Doing so made the vapor come up out of the gauge port while my face was right beside it. Couldn't breath for quit some time. No matter how hard you try, the lungs simply don't do what you want them to do!
Just a reminder to be cautious while using NH3!
