Central Kansas | I am a firm believer that cattle handling techniques are the biggest factor in disposition. That being said it starts at birth. I think some guys can screw up handling baby calves so bad that you may never get them calmed down. I have some angus cross cows that are as gentle as can be. My neighbor has some Herefords that have been so mishandled I don't think anyone could fix them.
