NC | I put a bud box in for my sheep. Best thing EVER!
For most of the sheep I do not even have to go in the box, they just run right up the chute when I open the gate. I had a few get wise and they would make me go in to get them up the shoot. As soon as I went in they would run right up the chute. I got to noticing it was the same ones every time. So now if I have to go in the box; I make their lives miserable for a few minutes before I let them go up the shoot. That eliminated all the stalling out.
I run my sheep through the chute at least once a month(weaning lambs). So they are very trained to it. | |
