I toured several different places in the area, and thought that the quality of the Holsteins you had in the older barn (I assume that's your reviving pen) stood out as exceptionally good
Could you use ddg instead of cgfp? I know the price would likely be higher than what you're paying, but ddg packs more of a punch I think, and more available. Maybe they won't work in your self feeder?? My friend feeds them through a creep feeder and gets along good. Have heard some good pricing out of cloverdale in the last month but haven't checked with them in a week or 2. We are getting ddg in mtv, costing 115-120. Had heard some 85-95 type numbers up northern Indiana with vomi probs that would be a great buy if we were closer or had some better freight
