Subject: Upped Corn to fast on some freezer beef

sc ks
I upped the corn to fast on some hfrs that feeding for freezer beef they went totally off basically. The day they went off was at 21lb/HD/day which was my targeted goal now I'm down to about 8 lb/HD/day and they're not overly crazy about it but bunk was pretty well cleaned out tonight wen I fed. Feeding twice a day and they also have free choice good prairie grass hay. I've read some about feeding baking soda to keep the rumen pH leveled out when feeding high grain diet can someone verify this?
