I enjoyed watching the show. The episodes where they pulled out sinker cypress logs were really interesting. I had a good forestry consultant who managed the sale. He would not let the loggers work when the ground was wet and soft.

You can check the satellite photos of the area along I55 about 15 miles south of Hammond, LA. The virgin cypress in the swampy area east of I55 was clear cut over 100 years ago. The photos still show the lines where they set up equipment to pull the huge logs from the swamp.
