Southern Pa. | Sounds like your injectors are throwing you a little fit. First order of business if your filters etc. are up to snuff, is to treat the fuel.
Get some JD Fuel Protect. There are two different treatment levels. A treatment/problem level, and a maintenance level. The stronger level is what you need to try. After treating your tractors fuel tank at the stronger level, get it out and use it. That will clear up rough idling most times.
Make sure to use a quality fuel treatment in your bulk tank. In addition to a quality fuel treatment, JD Fuel Protect at the maintenance level every couple tanks is a good practice to help prevent problems in the future.
If you have had an ongoing water problem with your fuel, you may have injector issues as well. HPCR injectors and water in fuel don't play together well. | |
