Yep then all the other customers get to pay for that. You should WANT your supplier to be vigilant in these matters and they should not be a lender.
Yep. Had a supplier was carrying a neighbor through for a couple years. Everyone knew the neighbor was broke as a joke (no these weren't that tough of times). I told the supplier it was me or him, but I wasn't paying for his bill. Supplier cussed me up and down for having my nose in his business so we returned everything. Pumped fertilizer out of storage tanks and took back. Went to a different supplier. Neighbor went broke, guess who got stuck? Guess who's prices weren't quite as competitive for a couple years? Supplier came to me about two years later and apologized. I thanked him and asked him to never try to sell me anything again. Told him to feel free to come back and visit. I like the guy, but I wasn't putting up with it. | |
