Hay last it will bridge. Never used lupins so can't help you there but if it's like trying to crack corn just idle tractor down to 1200 and pound them in as fast as it will take them. Seems to work good for me I figure that out on ag talk. I was use to electric mill and never even crossed my mind to slow it down
