| I have not been able to get conventional beans to yield with the Round Up Ready beans. The non GMO premiums here have fallen to the point where they don't even come close to making up the difference especially when you calculate what lower yields might cost to your field's yield history. The last two years I have had as much as 7 bpa less from conventional varieties and never have they been within 3 bph. The chemical costs are pretty similar for both programs for me. I am planting Extends this year and they are going to cost me more but I am hoping to clear up some resistance issues that make them worth that. | |
