Subject: RE: Conventional soybean ?

I haven't planted any of those but heard good things about the Sheyennes. I planted brookings conventional this year and it tied for our highest yields out of all of our fields last year. Pre-emerge was 5 oz sulfetrazone if I remember right(authority). Waited until our waterhemp was 2-3 inches tall, than sprayed with a little over half a rate of flexstar and outlook for more residual. Had to spray another time for waterhemp the same height, the rest of the allowed rate of flexstar and some cobra, plus some select for a few patches of grass. Was one of our cleanest fields. That was basically all we were doing on our other fields that were RR, except roundup instead of select. Will probably plant convential again next soybean crop. The seed was half the cost of round up and you can legally save the public seed for replanting next year.
