SW North Dakota | Going to be redoing the outside of my house with tin. I plan on ripping off the Masonite and also the wood siding before I put tin on. I have replaced all the windows in the house already but was wanting to put more insulation on it on the outside also. Was wondering what everyone thought I should do was thinking about putting 1 inch board insulation on under the tin. The widows are 1-1/2 inches out from the wall so thought with 1 inch insulation and also 1 inch j-trim it would work out. Was also wondering if I should use tyvek. Looking for any ideas if this is good or if I should do something different. Thanks in advance. | |
