I attended a few John Deere days from about 1954 - 1958. This was a big deal because we traveled from school on a school bus to the dealership in Picayune, MS. We got a free lunch, a pencil, note pad and green book on John Deere equipment. I still have some of these books. We also watched a movie and looked at the nice new equipment.
