North Central Kentucky | I made my 6 year old video it, but I haven't uploaded it anywhere yet. It's pretty simple:
Just butterfly a flank steak (or get it that way) and pound it out flat as you can like dough.
Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on the meat.
I put about 4 slices of smoked provolone on in the center, the length of the meat.
I put about 4 slices of prosciutto on top of the cheese.
I put about 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves on next.
Finally I put another 2 pieces of cheese on top.
Roll the beef across the top as tightly as you can and tie in 3 or 4 places with kitchen string.
Heat oven to 375
In a hot skillet (best if it can go in oven) sear on all sides 1-2min.
place in oven for 20-30 minutes until med. rare.
