Eastern Shore of MD | I too think, wait.... KNOW, there are a lot of unregistered drones operating. It was a national CBS news story around Christmas. I don't think its too much of a big deal if your flying for yourself but if you are looking to fly for anyone else, I think its important for a business entity to show their customers that they are obeying the laws in place.
Also, its too simple and easy to do it so why not? Some will say that they don't want the govt monitoring them. My thoughts are that 99% of these drones are A.) GPS controlled and B.) utilize a phone or tablet to control it. I think if they REALLY wanted to dig, they could find you, registered or not. | |
