Subject: RE: Conservation question

NC Indiana
TNC paid to convert several planters to no-till starter fertilizer back around 2002 locally. They also paid to plant trees. These funds all came from grants, but I don't remember the source - maybe Monsanto or similar company foundation. Indiana has Lake and River Enhancement money with is funds raised from boat taxes/fees that is used for land treatment and practice adoption, but is watershed based. Do you have any active watershed groups in your watershed that could have such funds? I remember in college the Iowa River had a greenways program or something to that effect - warranty must be up on my memory.
