Central Alberta | Yes the oat party got started in my area of central Alberta where there are lots of unharvested oats still out in the field. Many of these fields had 150 bu oats on them. Big wild card as too how much will be salvageable in the spring. We have had a dry winter with not much snow so some of the oats and wheat left out will get combined yet. Lots of canola left out as well. Never seem a year where there was no combining during the month of October in this area till last year. | |
