South Central Iowa | Not to take away too much from one day, and a lighter day at that, but the November contract encountered relative heavy hedge pressure today. I don't think that there will be enough to lift it very high when it is met with farmer selling over the next month. Later in the year, sure, but in the near-term, I think it is a little late to get that bean-corn spread very wide in the New Crop month. Like IN555 said, a greater acre switch will rely on producers remembering the big spread of 2016 and expecting it to occur again. | |
