Agree with your thoughts and numbers JL. Often read 2.9ish the number that moves acres with any significance. A C\B spread wouldn't tempt me before 2.9
I've always planted for rotation, not sure what ratio it would take to switch some, weather switches way more acres than price will. Would guess it's that way for most "here". Happened to be somewhat heavy beans last season, that worked out ok and yes happen to be heavy corn this year, weather could change it though.
