Fremont, NE | Looks as if the Nottoway plantation is mainly just the house where as Oak Alley plantation is more of complete working plantation from outbuildings, slave houses, and crop history which is what we are looking for. At least this is what I gathered from their websites.
I should've maybe stated that earlier that we were looking for more of a history experience with everything from the house to the farming operation to the slaves and everything in between. | |
