Cancer can take the life out of a family, both figuratively and literally.  Like you said.... it's often an unfair fight.  This is so very true with pancreatic cancer. 

My son's father-in-law died of pancreatic cancer about eight years ago, and one of my best friends died from it less than four years ago.  It's a horrible disease.  You're absolutely right.... funding is very much needed if we're ever going to get to a point where anyone has a fighting chance to beat it. 

I respect you, Bruce... for coming on here and sharing with us the loss of your wife, Jen.  It couldn't have been easy.   Thanks for sharing the photo too.  You guys sure looked great together. 

Praying the Lord brings you an extra measure of peace and comfort in the days, weeks, and months ahead.  Amen to that!
