Northeast Missouri | Yeah, I'm afraid that saying is likely to come out at "special" times at our house too.
Lest we all forget, for some of us last winter was just as much of a muddy mess. Actually it was worse for me, in Dec. and January, than it is now where I am. I didn't move cows to my usual wintering/early calving pasture until sometime in Feb. I think--I left them the a sacrifice paddock you see in the pic. here. (which was good fescue sod before feeding hay on it).
