Earlville, NY | My wife purchased an $80 bus ticket, got up at 1:00 Am to ride the bus filled with other marchers to DC , then rode it home and got back at 1:30 the next morning. She had disc replacement surgery 3 weeks ago and still went, along with her dept head (who is confined to a wheelchair) and two other colleagues, all professors at the local ag/community college. I know a number of other women and men that went as well. For all you people here and on TPP with their rude and ignorant comments about the marchers, (and women in general), you are examples of why so many women feel the need to do this. It's not unusual for bigots, chauvinists etc to deny their own faults and mock others. I find it disappointing to see so many in the ag community with these kinds of attitudes. | |
