Subject: RE: Northern US spring wheat classifications

NW Washington
There is a little hard white grown, both winter and spring. And lots of winter and spring low protein soft red and soft white wheat that is used for things like pastry, cookies, crackers and noodles. Some "club" wheat is grown in the Pacific NW which is another type of soft white wheat. I don't know of any that is intentionally grown for feed but some might become feed.

This link has some info wheat grown in the state of Washington. http://smallgrains.wsu.edu/
