I've been studying up on the WFRP Whole Farm Revenue Protection. It's a complex program for sure... BUT, I think there are certain groups that are going to benefit greatly from the program. One group is alfalfa producers.

If you participate in the WFRP it's going to take an excellent agent to guide you down the path. This program receives an 80% subsidy at several coverage levels.

It'll be good for row crop farmers too if they have high recent yields, and it'll be great in years that have a high grain price in Jan Feb.

Last year it was good to cow calf guys and small feeders.
