Subject: RE: bone spurs on heals

South cental Ohio
Doctor said I had the beginning of bone spurs on my heals and said I needed to exercise or they would get bad enough to have to operate. I'm not one to exercise religiously but I did feed cattle every morning and night which involved standing on some steps watching the silage conveyor run for twenty minutes or so. Since the doctor told me the best way to exercise the spurs away is to " stand on the edge of steps and go up on your toes and then down below the steps- working your heals to their full range"......... that is what I did twice a day while feeding. Don't know if it worked but I never have had any problem with spurs !!!
